The chair is very comfortable.
The lounge chair is made of quality material and craftsmanship. I was surprised. Very easy to assemble came almost all together. The release mechanism to recline must be held the entire time you recline which if you let go, then you're only halfway reclined. The foot rest is comfortable. I am 5 foot 8 and a 8 inches of my leg stick over the end of the foot rest. My wife is 5 foot two and she fits perfect. Go figure. The foot rest will only come totally to the top if you are totally reclined. In other words, the further back you go, the further up the leg rest rises. The lounge chair sits close to the ground, which I like. It is a very beautiful piece of furniture. Easy to get in and out of. The pads that come with it are very comfortable not super thick and not super thin. Just right. If you're using it as a chair and not a recliner, the back of the lounge tends to put you in the forward, leaning position, a little too much. Overall, it's a good chair. I got it on sale so I decided to try it.

This daybed is a wonderful addition to my patio. It is comfortable, good-looking and versatile. Bonus that it wasn’t hard to put together either. Do be aware when looking through the parts list versus parts that a section of the ottoman is already assembled. I was worried we were missing something, but everything was there.
